Mangiamo!
Happy Sunday everybody! For part two of my Capri travel diary, I have three restaurant recommendations for you! One is a favorite among locals; the second is perfect for a quick bite. And the third is truly magical; insert lemon emoji here.
Ristorante Le Arcate
Le Arcate is one of our favorite restaurants in Anacapri; we’ve eaten there so many times our waiter Hugo knows us by name. With its warm and welcoming atmosphere and authentic cuisine, I can see why it’s a local favorite. The seafood and pasta dishes are excellent. I highly recommend the Frutti Di Mare and my personal favorite Ravioli Alla Caprese.

Polpo All’insalata
My favorite thing to eat in Capri is Ravioli Alla Caprese. It’s the island’s signature dish, it’s made with local caciotta cheese instead of ricotta and it’s quite similar to Gnocchi. It’s so delicious; I order it in every restaurant I go to in Capri. If there’s one dish I recommend you try in Capri is Ravioli Alla Caprese, and Le Arcate serves the best I’ve had on the island.

Sciue’ Sciue’
Next to Capri’s most famous sandal shop, (which I will tell you about in my next post) is a pizzeria Sciue’ Sciue’. It’s located right in Via Orlandi, Anacapri’s main strip. Sciue’ Sciue’ is the perfect place to grab a quick lunch or sit with an Aperol Spritz and people watch. The food is tasty, the service is fast and friendly, and the prices are affordable.

Da Paolino
Paulino is one the most beautiful and unique restaurant I’ve ever been to. Where else can you have dinner under a lemon grove? Some of their lemon trees are over 100 years old. It’s easy to see why celebrities flock there.

Ravioli capresi al limone
Lemon is the main ingredient in most of their dishes, both sweet and savory. We had the Ravioli Caprese al Limone and the best Spaghetti alle Vongole. All their desserts are homemade and fantastic; I still dream about their Lemon Profiteroles!
We went for lunch; however, the restaurant is gorgeous in the evening under the lights of the majolica lamps and handmade candles.

Thank you for reading; I hope you enjoyed this post! Stayed tuned for part three, we’re going to talk shop. 😉
